By Car:
- Turn off the N2 between Knysna and Sedgefield at the Brenton / Belvidere sign (6 km from Knysna) at the bridge crossing the lagoon.
- After the N2 turn-off, proceed up the hill past Crabs Creek towards Brenton-on-Sea for approximately 1 km before turning left to Belvidere.
- Turn left and then take the first right into Belvidere Estate.
- At the intersection, take Lower Duthie Drive and follow the circular drive until you reach Belvidere Manor.

Knysna is situated in the heart of the Garden Route, approximately 75 kms from George airport and 260 kms from Port Elizabeth. The town lies on the Knysna river estuary, also known as the lagoon, and the sea is accessed through The Heads, narrow sandstone cliffs which protect the lagoon from the sea.

The Knysna basin has been declared a National Park and a wide variety of activities are enjoyed on or next to the water. Superb beaches offer swimming, surfing and long walks, whilst the surrounding forest offers hiking, mountain biking and scenic drives. Knysna`s town hosts a wide variety of shops, galleries and restaurants, and there is something for everyone to enjoy.
