Waterlilly Lodge ***Located in the seaside village of Betty’s Bay, 45 minutes east of Cape Town, this charming guest house combines modern amenities with a peaceful atmosphere. Waterlily Lodge offers guests stylish accommodation in a scenic setting. Seven comfy and well-appointed bedrooms, all with sea views, await guests that wish to discover the beauty of the Western Cape. Relax, after a long day, in one of the 2 elegantly-furnished lounges. Golden beaches and mountain paths are but a brief stroll from the lodge. Choose from a wide range of activities, including dune surfing or whale watching. In chilly winter nights, guests can unwind in front of the fireplace and read a book. Every morning, you can indulge in a sumptuous breakfast prepared by the host. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 31 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, 10 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 21 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 75 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children older than 12 years are welcome. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room. Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged at least 10 days prior to arrival and is refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is not applicable. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is included. Internet: No internet access available. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free private parking is possible on site. Betty’s Bay and its surroundings are considered one of the world’s prime whale watching territories (from June to November). Enjoy a boat cruise and get close to these magnificent creatures. The village is also home to a colony of African Penguins, one of only two land based colonies in the country. In addition, nature enthusiasts can visit the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens.
