De Oude Huis Guesthouse ****Built in 1910 and conveniently located, our residence with a sense of elegance was designed to reflect the influences of our diverse South African heritage. The warmly decorated yet refined interiors are beautifully styled with soaring moulded ceilings, original wooden floors and stained glass windows. At our guest house we pride ourselves in personal service, ensuring attention to detail. We offer the discerning guest a tranquil and comfortable stay in our intimate amount of en suite rooms. Each room features its own atmosphere, conveying a personal impression and different feel in both furnishings and colour. With such a strategic situation near the motorway, the hotel is within easy reach of the commercial centres, cultural attractions and modern amenities, the perfect base for a satisfying stay. Lunch and dinner is available on request. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children older than 12 years are welcome. All children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room. Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is included. Internet: Wired internet is available in public areas and costs ZAR 25.00 per hour. Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free Private parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are not allowed. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. By Car: From Johannesburg international airport: - Follow the exit for Pretoria and take the R21. - Turn left onto the N1 motorway signposted for Pretoria Oos/Pietersburg/Johannesburg. - Keep right on the N1 Pretoria East. - Take the Pietersburg exit off left. - Go straight on for Pretoria East/Witbank. - Take the Atterbury Road exit and keep left. - Turn left onto the M11 Menlo Park and keep left. - Turn left into Charles Street signposted M11 Pretoria, Brooklyn. - The hotel is on the left just before the Rupert Street crossing. The guest house is centrally situated in Brooklyn within Pretoria, easily accessible from all the main routes.
