Virginia Cottage ***Virginia Cottage is 150 metres from the shores of Lake Windermere. It has rooms with hydrotherapy showers or spa baths, traditional breakfasts and free access to a nearby leisure club. On arrival guests are greeted with a free glass of wine and chocolates. The large rooms at the Virginia all feature TVs, DVD players and free Wi-Fi is available in public areas of the hotel. Homemade cakes and sherry are available all day in the lounge. From J36 of M6 then follow signs for Windermere on A590 then A591, turn left at Windermere Hotel onto A5074 following signs for Bowness. At mini roundabout go straight ahead take next left onto Kendal Road, Virginia Cottage is 100mts up on left hand side next to Royal Oak pub. We recommend stopping at the entrance so we can collect your luggage and direct you to the car park.
