Situated in the countryside of North Yorkshire, this 4-star family-run bed and breakfast offers spacious, beautifully decorated accommodation. Guests are greeted with tea and home-made cakes.

Freshly prepared home-cooked evening meals are offered with prior notice. A delicious breakfast is served in the conservatory making the most of the morning sunlight every morning.

Guests are welcome to bring their own wine to enjoy while relaxing in the garden or to complement their evening meal. Fridge space, corkscrew and glasses are available for guest use.

Based in Arrathorne, Elmfield House offers a peaceful location in Lower Wensleydale at the gateway to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park. The North York Moors and the towns of Bedale and Leyburn are all within easy reach.

Your hearty Yorkshire breakfast is made using locally sourced produce and is accredited by the Regional Food Group under the Deliciously Yorkshire breakfast scheme.

Breakfasts as being served 07.30 to 09.00 Monday to Friday and 08.30 to 09.30 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Earlier breakfasts can be arranged but, depending on time, may be continental rather than cooked Full Yorkshire breakfast.

Evening meals need to be booked at least 24 hours in advance and are not available on Sundays or occasionally other evenings.

By Car:
- Take the A1.
- Join the A684 into Bedale.
- Continue on the A684 from Bedale towards Leyburn.
- Pass through the villages of Crakehall and Patrick Brompton.
- At the first crossroads after Patrick Brompton, turn right for Richmond.
- Elmfield House is then exactly 1.5 miles further along on the right-hand side.

The location of Elmfield House provides a fantastic stop-over point for business and leisure travellers, or longer term accommodation for the tourist seeking out the best that North Yorkshire and County Durham can offer. It is the ideal base to explore County Durham, the glories of the North Yorkshire Dales, the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the region`s coastline.
