Hotel Hanzestadlogement is situated in a historical building dating back to 1645 and is located in the centre of the historical Hanseatic city Deventer along the IJssel.

All the rooms are furnished differently. Every room is named after a Hanseatic city. All rooms have a kitchenette.

When you enter the hotel, the atmosphere reminds you of grandmother’s days. You will be checked in with a cup of coffee or tea and a piece of Deventer cake. Also during your stay, you will enjoy this warm hospitality.

It`s a cosy and small hotel with a tea and coffee house. The hotel also sells traditional trading products and there is a Hanzemuseum. There is also an old Dutch sweetshop which is definitely worth a visit!

A continental breakfast is served from 7.00 till 10.00 with several kinds of fresh bread and traditional Hanseatic products from our shop. We do not serve dinner in the hotel but we can advise you a lot of nice restaurants in the neighborhood.

Parking:
During your whole stay your car can be parked in a covered "Leeuwenbrugparkeergarage" car park.

By Public Transport:
- From the Deventer railway station cross the street to the Singelstraat, which becomes the Sijzenbaanplein, Achter de Broederen and Engestraat.
- At the end of this street turn right to the Nieuwstraat.
- At the tea and coffee house on the left at number 25 you will find the hotel.

The centre of Deventer is very nice to visit with very old buildings. We sell a nice route for a city-walk in the shop. Also it is very beautiful to hire a bicycle and make a trip along the river The IJssel.

There is a shop in the hotel where you can buy all sorts of products from different Hanseatic towns of Europe. For example Deventer koek (spiced cookies) and mustard from Deventer, tea from Zutphen, honey and candy from Hamburg, wine and marzipan from Lübeck, sweets from Helsingborg, chocolate from Brussels and marmalade from Copenhagen. Behind the shop is a Hanze-museum, with wooden malls to make Dutch biscuits, coffee mills, chocolate malls and an old bakery where lots of Dutch candy is sold.
