The hotel is located in the centre of Emmeloord on a large market square with plenty of free parking around. The shopping centre is practically at our doorstep. Emmeloord is an excellent base for a visit to the Batavia Shipyard, the Batavia outlet centre, the Orchid Farm, Urk, Schokland, Giethoorn and the nature reserve `Weerribben`. Follow this road till the second traffic lights, and take a right. Then take a left onto the parking lot and you are in front of the hotel. The Noordoostpolder is worth seen. But what you don`t see is probably most impressive: skies where water once dominated. Our hotel is the perfect base for day trips. By bicycle for example. Tour through patchwork landscapes rich in nature, water and small beaches. Visit typical fishing villages, the world heritage site Schokland or nature reserve the Weerribben. The Aviodome, the Batavia shipyard or even Walibi World guarantee numerous entertaining options, although many see the tranquillity of this rustic area as the most valuable key element.
